Under heavy use all foam rollers will start to break down when the roller is continually compressed by the user's weight. The tiny bubbles that makes up the foam fatigues and breaks. Eventually, the roller goes out of round and often the roller is just replaced.

The new Exervo™ Nimbus EnduraBead™ foam roller is manufactured utilizing a completely different process than our traditional PE2 or EVA foam rollers. Beads of polyethylene are injected into a mold then compressed under high pressure. The beads bond and form the final product. The beaded structure of our Nimbus roller offers improved durability by withstanding compression (deflection) and rebound of the foam.
Foam rollers are an essential tool for pilates core, ab and back stabilization and strengthening. Foam rollers are used as a balance training tool to improve balance for sports, everyday balance or in a physical therapy setting. They are also an excellent aid for self massage of the upper and lower back, calf, hamstring, glutes and quads. The roller is especially useful for IT (illiotibia) band syndrome.
Since full round foam rollers offer a significant balance challenge, they are recommended for intermediate and advanced users when balance training or in conjunction with a professionally supervised training session.
